EPIRB: (1) SAT2 406 CAT II (RLB-32), Item No.: 2775, A3-06-2068 EPRIB, Manufactured by: ACR. INMARSAT-Mini M’s Two (2) ATLAS SP 2000 M Maritime Global Telephones. The control heads are located in the Wheelhouse Radio Room Area, and the sat phones are accessible from any telephone instrument on the vessel. CELLUAR TELEPHONE: (1) MOTOROLA Nautilus Cellular Phone located in the Radio Room, accessed from any telephone instrument on the vessel. RADAR: (2) 25 KW, Kelvin Hughes Radars (5000A/2/6U and 5000R/2/6U), both with ARPA, (2) monitors on the Wheelhouse Console, and (1) full function remote monitor on the Fly Bridge Console. GLOBAL POSITION SATELLITE SYSTEM (GPS) One (1) LIECA MX-400B Differential GPS System B & G MULTIFUNCTION SYSTEM This system provides information such as depth, speed, temperature, wind, etc., and displays it on the B & G monitors located in the Wheelhouse Console, Wheelhouse Radio Room, Captain’s Cabin, Crew Lounge, and in the Equipment Room. The System consists of: AUTO PILOT AND GYRO SYSTEM ANSCHÜTZ autopilot and gyro steering system, operated from the Wheelhouse Console and on the Fly Bridge Console. It is interfaced with the ECDIS. Radar, and the GPS Systems MAGNETIC COMPASS Delta-Pilot Magnetic Compass located on the Wheelhouse Console. CCTV AND SECURITY SYSTEM Elbex Closed Circuit Television System with five cameras, and 2 dedicated monitors (Wheelhouse and Crew Lounge) monitors the Main Deck Side Decks, the Cockpit area, and the Engine Room. The CCTV System also is integrated into the Security Alarm System through Elbex, Model EXMD931 Motion Detectors. The CCTV output is modulated to all the TVs on the vessel. TRANSAS ECDIS-Electronic Chart Display Information System The software of the Transas Electronic Charts Display Information System operates on a HP Computer located in the Wheelhouse. The System’s output appears on a 17” monitor built into the Wheelhouse Console, and on monitor built into the Fly Bridge Console. The system is integrated with the GPS, Radar, and the Autopilot systems. The output of the Transas system is modulated to all TVs on the vessel. ISIS Vessel Information System Located on the Wheelhouse Console is the main monitor for “Ships Information System.” Manufactured by RGM, this system is operated by a dedicated computer and is programmed to continuously monitor approximately 160 points/functions. Remote monitors are located in the Equipment Room, Crews Lounge, and on the Fly Bridge Console. The output of the ISIS System is modulated to all TVs on the vessel. LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM The Vessel is equipped with a Lightning Protection System consisting of (2), grounded lightning rods, one on the Mast, and one opposite the SSB antenna on the Fly Bridge. LIGHTNING PREVENTION SYSTEM A Lightning Prevention System designed by Lightning Prevention Systems, consisting of three (3) Static Charge Dissipation Devices (Saucers) positioned on the vessel. TELEPHONE SYSTEM Panasonic Telephone System consisting of (3) portable cordless and (12) LCD 24 button phones, with a hotel type voice processing system. PAGING SYSTEM 60 Watt, Bogen Telephone Paging System. This system allows all areas of the vessel to be paged by using the “PAGE ALL” button on any telephone that has a programmed “Page All” button on the instrument. Voice Paging is heard on the each telephone equipped with a speaker and, throughout the vessel on the Bogen Speakers. SHIPS COMPUTER Dell Computer with flat screen monitor, multifunction printer/fax, scanner, located in Radio Room area. Computer is integrated to GPS System and TRANSAS System UPS’s (Power Supplies) are provided for all computer equipment, telephone system, and other important electronic safety and navigation equipment on board. SAFTEY EQUIPMENT ISIS Vessel Monitoring and Alarm Systems-Monitors approximately 160 functions on the vessel, including excess heat, smoke, fire, and flooding. Alarms sound in Crew Area, Equipment Room, Wheelhouse, Engine Room, Fly Bridge. SHIP'S BELL: An 11” Bell is mounted on the stainless steel Bell Hoop installed in front of the Windlass on the Forepeak. LIFE RAFTS: (2) Solas A approved, Eight (8) person life rafts, on the Boat Deck, manufactured by DBC Marine Safety Systems. FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT Alarms FIRE HOSES: On the Main Deck are two (2) lockers labeled FIRE HOSE, each containing 50 ft of 1-1/2” fire hose. FIRE PUMP: The vessel’s Fire Pump, is a Model Number 29535, 5 HP AC, manufactured by MP Pumps, located in the Equipment Room Pump Locker Fresh Water Hose: Numerous fresh water hoses and spigots are provided throughout the vessel. Fire Ax is provided in the Equipment Room. FIRE TOWELS: Two (2) 17 X 20” fabric fire towels specially treated to snuff out grease and alcohol fires are provided in the Main Galley, under the sink. FIRST AID KIT AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES The vessel has subscribed with to an emergency medical service entitled MedlLink provided by MedAire®, Inc. This service allows the crew to contact a MedLink emergency physician at any time, day or night. MEDICAL SUPPLIES: MedLink has also supplied medical kits which are carried on board the vessel. These kits are stored in the following location: Sky Lounge behind the sofa. Portable Automatic External Defibrillator Machine An “S” Model ForeRunner defibrillator machine, Serial Number 27556, manufactured by Heartstream, is included with the vessel’s medical supplies. Bilge Pumps: Two systems:24V DC and 240V AC. Pump operation is monitored by the ISIS System, and high water alarm monitoring switches are installed near each DC Bilge Pump. ENTERTAINMENT EQUIPMENT/TELEVISION RECEPTION The vessel is equipped with three (3) methods to receive television signals: Satellite (DSS) TV (1) Sea Tel, Marine Stabilized Antenna System is installed on the Mast. The antenna matrix control unit is located in the Wheelhouse Radio Room area and the output is modulated through independent DSS receivers to each TV monitor on the vessel. VIDEO EQUIPMENT The following is a list of the television equipment installed on the vessel: Plasma TV Pop-Up Units The Plasma television monitors in the Sky Lounge, Main Salon, and Master Stateroom are concealed in walls and cabinets and are mounted on pop-up hardware, Model 1001-Plasma, Manufactured by: Auton. Guest Staterooms Port Stateroom: Televisions: Sony 20”, KV20540 Crew Lounge Combination Color Television/VCR-13” Model VT1355A Color TV and VHS HQ Video Cassette Recorder with Remote Control and Closed Caption Decoder, manufactured by Emerson. Captain’s Stateroom Combination Color Television/VCR-13” Model VT1355A Color TV and VHS HQ Video Cassette Recorder with Remote Control and Closed Caption Decoder, manufactured by Emerson. Forward Stateroom: Located on the aft wall of the Forward Stateroom above the couch/bed, in a custom cabinet are the following audio/video equipment’s: Video Projector-Sharp, Model Number XV-S55U, LCD Video Projector Video Projection Screen-Model Number XS-72SPGA, supplied by Sharp Electronics Corporation is mounted in the ceiling of the Forward Stateroom, behind a concealed panel. SIGNAL MODULATING EQUIPMENT: Modulating equipment manufactured by Blonder-Tongue is used to modulate the video signals from the ECDIS, CCTV, Radar, and ISIS Systems to the TVs on the vessel. AUDIO EQUIPMENT The following is a list of audio equipment included on the vessel: MASTER STATEROOM: Yamaha RX-V-992 Dolby Digital Receiver GUEST STATEROOM (Port): Yamaha RX-V493 Dolby Receiver GUEST STATEROOM (Starboard): Yamaha RX-V493 Dolby Receiver CAPTAIN'S STATEROOM: Pioneer KEH-P6400 AM/FM Turner/Cassette Player CREW LOUNGE: Emerson Combination Color Television/VCR-13” MECHANICAL AND ENGINE EQUIPMENT: Raw water for Main Engine, Generators, Water makers, HVAC, Bait Tanks, Cockpit Wash Down, Anchor Chain Wash, and 240V AC Emergency Fire Pump, Refrigeration, and hydraulic Equipment cooling is provided thru 2 large sea chests located in the Engine Room. An aft discharge chest located in the Engine Room is provided for the central point discharge of the black and gray wastewater, condensation from HVAC Tempering Modules, Gear Auxiliary Pump Cooling Water, Hydraulic System Cooling Water, and Engine Room Bilge Water. EQUIPMENT ROOM: Equipment Room Pump Locker below work bench FUEL MANAGEMENT LOCKER: Contains site gauges and electronic bar graph gauges for the for fuel tanks, Alfa Laval Fuel Cleaning/Transfer Unit, 240 V AC Fuel Transfer Pump, 24V DC Fuel Transfer Pump and complete manifolding for the management and distribution of fuel. COMMERCIAL REFRIDGERATION: XX CuFt of refrigeration and freezer capacity is provided in three units located in the Equipment Room. These units are both water-cooled and/or air-cooled to allow the continued operation while in dry dock. MAIN ELETRICAL DISTRIBUTION PANEL: This panel provides for the ability to distribute power to the four main buses from shorelines (200 amps from port or starboard), or from one of the three (3) generators (35, 65, 100 KW). Sub panels are also located near the Main Electrical Distribution Panel STATUS PANEL: This panel displays the status of various systems on the vessel and provides control for same. EQUIPMENT ROOM BILGE: In this bilge is located the black and gray water pumps, expansion tanks, fuel shut-off valves, and storage space Three (3) 5 bladed Rolls Royce ISO Classed props (2 @ 46 X 46, 1 @ 42 X 36), installed on Aquamet 22, 3-1/2” shafts Koop-Nautic Stabilizers-(Searocq) with 19 sq ft fins. Westmar Bow Thruster: 50 HP Dual Prop with controls at all stations Engine Controls by ACT and Solo- Electronic with Mechanical backup. Fly Bridge, Wheelhouse, Wings (2), Boat Deck and Aft Deck (Remotes), Mechanical in Wheelhouse and Equipment Room. Hydraulic Steering System by Hough: 2 AC 5 HP motors with two Back up DC motors. Central Hydraulic System by HPS (Now Naiad) Powered by Center Engine with auxiliary drives on port engine and center engine PTO’s. The Bow Thruster, Crane, Windlass, and Stabilizers are provided pressure by the Central Hydraulic System TANKAGE: Fuel tanks: Total 8300 gallons in the following tanks-- Aft Tank located in Lazarette, Fuel Fill Manifold Tank, Port Main, Day, Starboard Main all located in the Equipment Room, Wing Tank located in the Main Bilge area, Forward Tank located in Bow Thruster Compartment Water Tanks: (2) tanks with total capacity of 1590 gallons, located in the Main Bilge area ELECTRICAL POWER: Vessel operates on Single Phase 120/240V AC, 60 Hz.
